Unknown Microscope Slide Maker 3
by Brian Stevenson
last updated November, 2011
Microscope slides with this person’s handwriting are commonly encountered. The large numbers of such slides, and the frequency of duplicates, suggest that this was a professional or semi-professional slide maker. The style of these slides, with plain black ringing, suggest that they were produced during the late 1800s or early 1900s.
Any clues as to the maker of these slides will be greatly appreciated. Please send emails to brian.stevenson@uky.edu
