Unknown Microphotograph Maker "G"

As-yet unidentified microphotographer "G" used dark green labels, with a single initial. A microphotograph of the 1866 Punch Alamanack gives an idea of when this preparer was active. The microphotographed ten Pound note bears the date May 7, 1861 and serial number 11062, and the five Pound note bears the date June 18, 1859 and serial number 79368. Slides by "G" are fairly uncommon. Any information on this maker’s identity, or other examples of G’s work, will be greatly appreciated.
